Sonoran Capital Management (SCM) is a Registered Investment Advisor.  The firm was founded in 2009 and began investing client assets on January 1st, 2010.  SCM focuses primarily on hedged equity investing to achieve favorable risk adjusted returns through portfolio and risk management strategies.

S. Cameron Schubert, CFA

Founder, Managing Partner, Co-Chief Investment Officer

Cameron began his career as an interest rate derivatives trader for Chicago based TradeGroup LLC. Following his time there he was a portfolio manager at BOK Financial - Bank of Oklahoma managing client investment assets on a discretionary basis covering global equities, fixed income, commodities, and alternative investments. He has a Bachelor's of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame as well as a Masters of Business Administration from New York University's Stern School of Business where he graduated as part of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. Mr. Schubert is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Oklahoma Society of Financial Analysts. 

Thomas J. Schubert (TJ)

Founder, Managing Partner, Co-Chief Investment Officer

TJ Began his career at Lehman Brothers as a trader on the global equities trading desk in New York covering primarily the Information Technology sector. Following his time there, TJ joined Barclays Capital in a similar role covering the Industrials sector. As a part of SCM, TJ developed the firm's proprietary global macro investment model which serves as the backbone for portfolio management of client accounts. He has a Bachelor's of Science in Finance from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
